D-Link smart plugs with support for Google Home

The concept of the connected home continues to take steps forward in the diversity of products to which it can endow with intelligence and greater functions than everyone knows. For example, two new socket models called D-Link DSP-W115 and D-Link DSP-W245 allow remote control of connected equipment.

As if that weren't enough, you can add voice control capability to your appliances through a support for the Google Home virtual assistive device that already accepts Spanish-language commands to turn on or off appliances connected to smart plugs.


Other features to mention of D-Link DSP-W115 and D-Link DSP-W245 stand out in its support for surveillance cameras, so that you can configure automation such as turning on or off the appliances connected to the Smart Plug if the sensors of mydlink cameras detect movement or sound. Thus, it always seems that someone is at home even if it is uninhabited.

The DSP-W115 Smart Plug is available in the main online stores as physical of the country at a recommended price of 39€, while the DSP-W245 version with four available inputs and consumption management of kWH, will go on sale to the public from September for a cost of 139€.
